NOTES CONCERNING THE TRANSITION EXPERIMENT

1st AIAA CFD High Lift Prediction Workshop

In the process of conducting the transition experiments on the Trap Wing model (Configuration 1) in the NASA Langley 14x22 Wind Tunnel, the lead experimentalists assembled notes concerning the process which led to the information provided in the published report AIAA-2005-5148 (McGinley et al, June 2005). As an aid to the CFD community interested in making use of the experimental information given in this AIAA paper, some of these notes are provided here.
