HYBRID RANS/LES TFG

5th AIAA CFD High Lift Prediction Workshop

The HRLES Technology Focus Group (TFG) works with hybrid methodologies that combine Reynolds-averaged Navier Stokes (RANS) with Large-Eddy Simulations (LES). Its goal is to achieve more accurate time-averaged results than non-scale-resolving methods like RANS alone, particularly for high-lift flows involving separation.
